Treasure of the East Indigo - Qing Dai (1:1 Herbal Extract Granules 100g)
- WHOLE HERB POWER ? Treasure of the East Herbal Extracts have the same active chemicals as whole herbs but with five times the concentration, meaning they provide the same range of benefits of whole herbs in a form that is much easier to take. When you choose our herbs, you’re choosing the best in natural quality and modern convenience. - WATER-BASED EXTRACTS ? So many extracts on the market today are created with harsh chemical solvents like alcohol, hexane, or acetone. We wanted better, which is why our herbs are extracted using purified water and only purified water. Each batch is laboratory-tested for purity and identity in a laboratory certified to ISO/IEC17025 standards by ILAC-MRA/CNAS. - GEO-AUTHENTIC SOURCING ? Most herbs grow better where they grow naturally; that’s why over 95% of our raw herbs come from their regions of traditional origin. The only time we source an herb from a farm outside the traditional region is when the traditional region fails to meet our strict sustainability and quality guidelines. Plus, 100% of our herbs are free from sulfur preservatives. - TRADITION MEETS TECHNOLOGY ? The herbs we carry have been used for centuries for their benefits - we’ve mixed in modern science, including technology protected by 30 patents, to maximize their advantages.

About Treasure of the East
Qing Dai is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herb, also known as Indigo naturalis.
A 2015 study published by the journal Chinese Medicine concluded qing dai powder promotes the recovery of colitis by inhibiting inflammatory responses of colonic macrophages in dextran sulfate sodium-treated mice.
Qing Dai, ?黛 (Indigo) is salty and cold in nature. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Qing Dai is used to clear heat, cool blood and eliminate spots, resolve toxins, clear liver, and drain fire.
Treasure of the East herbal extracts can be found in clinics across the country.
Our herbs are grown in geo-authentic Dao Di regions, and prepared using traditional Pao Zhi practices.
Our Qing Dai is grown and processed right on our very own farms!
Our cultivation tracking system includes data on the farmer, land, planting conditions, growing conditions, harvest conditions and more to insure you always receive the best possible product.
Treasure of the East grew as a word-of-mouth herbal company, when our earliest TCM customers recommended our products to their colleagues.
When Dr. Ann Wang, CMD, LAc, moved her practice from China to the US in the late 1980s, she struggled to get the clinical results she was used to getting back home. Dr. Wang returned to China again and again, to bring back the best quality herbs for her clinic and her patients.
Dr. Wang began introducing these treasures to Ithaca’s small but vibrant TCM community, and as more patients improved, more practitioners asked for these treasured herbs. In 1994, Dr. Wang took the leap, and Treasure of the East began its operations as the first FDA-registered supplier of TCM granule herbs from mainland China.
We hope you too, will share these treasures from the East with your friends and family, and help us keep the tradition going!
