Gingko biloba is the only existing member of the genus, Gingko. Its soft, yet chewy textured kernels are eaten either toasted or in dishes in the far East-Asian cuisine. An edible ginkgo nut is surrounded by a thin membranous layer inside this hardshell as in pistachio.
Recommend to wash dried medicinal herbs under cold running water and then use a fine mesh strainer to drain the water. It is more effective to use a linen cloth or a thin gauze cloth, especially for flower petals or chopped herbal leaves.
* If the herb is too long or large, please cut / chop it after draining water to make tea better and easier.
For milder concentrated tea, we recommend the ratio, WATER : HERBS = 0.5 GALLONS : 1 TABLESPOON
For deeper concentrated tea, we recommend the ratio, WATER : HERBS = 0.5 GALLONS : 3 TABLESPOON

Roots, Seed or Fruits: Bring to a boil, lower the heat and simmer for 1hr to 1 1/2 hr.
Loose Leaves: Bring to a boil, lower the heat and simmer for 20 mins - 30 mins.
* Longer time of simmer will make deeper and heavier taste of the tea.
Cool and strain the boiled herb. Store the tea for a maximum of 72 hours in the refrigerator.
Keep refrigerated and One cup of tea is recommended to be taken twice a day (usually morning and evening).
* For a delicious change, try it with honey or your favorite sweetener.
